STRETCHING THE BODY

Stretching the Body brings together ten international artists, including Jana Euler, Christina Quarles, Avery Singer, Anj Smith and Ambera Wellmann, who reflect on the theme of the human figure through the medium of painting. Among the works on display, the body emerges as a much-desired space, one of conflict between definitions and belonging, in which the limits between subject and object are continually called into question.
