#GREEN. AMBIENTE E PAESAGGIO IN ITALIA DALLA PITTURA ROMANTICA ALL’ARTE CONTEMPORANEA

The debate about safeguarding the environment, climate change, the emergencies provoked by pollution and the reckless devastation perpetrated by man on the Earth is more than ever on the international agenda: it is important to show how analogous themes such as love, feelings for nature and interest in the unspoiled landscape were also central for numerous artists in the past, from the pre-romantic painters of the end of the 18th Century to the contemporary maestros. The exhibition thus aims to document this attention and passion, displaying more than 200 works including paintings, photographs, videos and installations.
